My family and I just returned from a magical trip of a lifetime, exploring Iceland with Ingi, our amazing guide from Deluxe Iceland. From the moment we landed until we departed, Ingi took such thoughtful care of every detail. We spent ten days, with adventures that included fly fishing (we caught Arctic Char), boating among ice bergs in a glacial lagoon, hiking volcano crater rims, exploring waterfalls, puffin cliffs on the Westman Islands and bathing in geothermal pools. And every day we enjoyed amazing food, and beautiful hotels. Deluxe Iceland arranged an excellent itinerary and Ingi made sure our every need was taken care of. His knowledge of all things Icelandic made the trip a very rich experience.He even did advance research into my family’s ancestral home in Isafjordur prior to our arrival and was able to take us directly to my great grandparents home, from which my family emigrated to Canada in 1898!
