A great way to begin retirement!!!

My husband and I chose to celebrate our “retirement” by touring Iceland. We corresponded with Deluxe Iceland’s owner, Sig, and from the initial email to the final farewell at the airport we were extremely impressed!! Sig and Fannar, consecutively, were our personal tour guides throughout our trip and both were very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and personable. They listened to our wants and planned our trip accordingly. At the same time, they were more than willing to veer from the planned schedule if we spotted a “sight” along the route. Sig’s mantra was “no stress” which made us feel relaxed and cared for!! (I have since decided to adopt that mantra!!) We had many great conversations and laughs with both Sig and Fannar and left Iceland feeling like we had made two new friends!! A big thank-you and cheers to Sig and Fannar for making our retirement trip a memory that we will forever treasure!! Bless, bless, Deborah and Bo Passey. (Ontario, Canada) P.S. We highly recommend Deluxe Iceland if Iceland is on your “bucket list.”

Deluxe Iceland with Deluxe Iceland

My wife wanted to go to Iceland with friends and family for a special occasion due in part to the wonderful trip organized by Deluxe Iceland in 2019. I called on them again, but this trip was larger with 20 people coming in from several countries. Sig, Viktor and their excellent staff pulled it all together without a glitch. They are knowledgeable and professional with on the ground white glove service. The real asset in this outfit is the team. These people genuinely care about their country and their special guests who visit. In a few days, we visited the Spa at the Retreat, visited waterfalls, local restaurants, glacier walked, and bathed in the northern lights from the hot tubs at the Hotel Ranga. I think they will get more business from our guests, who want to return to this magical country.

Great communications leading up to the trip, perfectly tailored itinerary, great restaurant reservations and recommendations, and insightful information about the Icelandic culture. We had a bucket list vacation thanks to Sig! Bryan and I feel he will be forever our friend! Many thanks for making this trip AMAZING!

The trip I booked, was simply wonderful, life changing, and an experience that will rival in pace you visit. Deluxe Iceland and Egill gave me a personal excursion into a wonderful country filled with awe. I soaked up all the knowledge and can’t wait t visit again, in the summer next time. Deluxe Iceland is the only way to experience the treasures of Iceland. Thank you.

So in the summer of 2020 my mom and I had a trip planned for Iceland, unfortunately the pandemic happen but Deluxe Iceland changed our trip for the following year, we were still did not want travel. Deluxe Iceland understood and pushed our trip for 2022. We finally went to Iceland on May 1st 2022, and had the greatest experience. Viktor and Sigurour were awesome at helping us out and super reliable people. Jonas was a great guide and great driver, and took us to all the place that we had planned out. Food was great and hotels were nice. Deluxe Iceland is a great company. Thank you for everything.
