Sig was an phenomenal guide. Great communications leading up to the trip, perfectly tailored itinerary, great restaurant reservations and recommendations, and insightful information about the Icelandic culture. We had a bucket list vacation thanks to Sig! Bryan and I feel he will be forever our friend! Many thanks for making this trip AMAZING!

My husband and I chose to celebrate our “retirement” by touring Iceland. We corresponded with Deluxe Iceland’s owner, Sig, and from the initial email to the final farewell at the airport we were extremely impressed!! Sig and Fannar, consecutively, were our personal tour guides throughout our trip and both were very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and personable. They listened to our wants and planned our trip accordingly. At the same time, they were more than willing to veer from the planned schedule if we spotted a “sight” along the route. Sig’s mantra was “no stress” which made us feel relaxed and cared for!! (I have since decided to adopt that mantra!!) We had many great conversations and laughs with both Sig and Fannar and left Iceland feeling like we had made two new friends!! I trusted Deluxe Iceland to plan the trip of a lifetime for 10 friends of ours. Most who had never been to Iceland. Not knowing what to expect every single step of the way we were BLOWN away, by the attentiveness and attention to detail Deluxe Iceland executed. Each activity we had planned was elevated beyond our wildest beliefs. From our favourite drinks and food, to local traditions the team at Deluxe made us feel like the lead characters in a larger than life movie. I wish every country we visited had a Deluxe group of people. We WILL be back, and we will be sending people their way to truly have a mind blowing experience. Bravo. Above and truly beyond.

Our time in Iceland was spectacular and we owe it to the itinerary planned by Deluxe Iceland. Ours was a 3 generation trip and somehow everyone enjoyed every activity planned by Sig and his team. Our days were filled with adventure, as requested, with trips to glaciers and waterfalls, snowmobiling, dogsledding, ATVing while also seeing the major sites. Every bit of our trip was well scheduled, guides were knowledgeable, on time and kind, excellent accommodations and the country of Iceland was everything it promised to be. I highly recommend Deluxe Iceland if you are looking for a custom trip designed for your particular group.

A memorable and wonderful trip through southern Iceland with Deluxe Iceland. Our guide, Jonas Karl, was the best! Viktor and Sig were so helpful in planning our itinerary and organzing everything.
