Perfect introduction to Iceland!

Deluxe Iceland helped us put together a really special and memorable first trip to Iceland. We spent four days touring the Golden Circle and south coast with our awesome guide Unnar. He was fun, gentle, and a little bit silly in just the right combination for our nine-year-old daughter. My husband and I also really enjoyed speaking with him about his experience growing up in Iceland and hearing about his own love for exploring his country. We felt very taken care of; Unnar was constantly monitoring the weather and changing the order of our itinerary when necessary to help us dodge the rain and get clear views of the amazing sites. He also added in a few extra stops that weren’t on our itinerary and turned out to be especially memorable. We spent considerably more on this trip than we normally do, but we never felt like we were paying more than we should for the level of comfort and convenience provided by Deluxe Iceland. Highly recommend them and, especially, Unnar!

Colors of Iceland – A Trip of a Lifetime!

Words cannot express how wonderful our first trip to Iceland was. We contacted Deluxe Iceland and they planned everything for us. We had a private guide who was with us for 4 of the 6 days in Iceland (he only left us when we arrived in Reykjavik). Our guide, Egill, was absolutely amazing, patient, kind, knowledgeable, professional, funny and the list goes on and on . The hotels they booked us into were wonderful, food was fabulous (this was a total surprise for us) and the activities were perfect. A lot was packed into every day, because of only having 5 -6 hours of sunlight, and that was perfect. This trip exceed our expectations. We highly recommend Deluxe Iceland, (and our guide Egill) if you want to travel to Iceland and have an experience of a lifetime!

The trip of a lifetime!

Deluxe Iceland was the best! Arney and I had been in touch for the weeks leading up to our family trip and she customized an experience that was exactly what we wanted. From the moment we arrived, Unnar guided us through Iceland and treated us like family!! We couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was the trip we were all dreaming of and Deluxe Iceland fulfilled it 100%. I will recommend this company to anyone considering a trip to Iceland.

Awesome trip to Iceland

So in the summer of 2020 my mom and I had a trip planned for Iceland, unfortunately the pandemic happen but Deluxe Iceland changed our trip for the following year, we were still did not want travel. Deluxe Iceland understood and pushed our trip for 2022. We finally went to Iceland on May 1st 2022, and had the greatest experience. Viktor and Sigurour were awesome at helping us out and super reliable people. Jonas was a great guide and great driver, and took us to all the place that we had planned out. Food was great and hotels were nice. Deluxe Iceland is a great company. Thank you for everything.

Magical Family Trip to Iceland

My family and I just returned from a magical trip of a lifetime, exploring Iceland with Ingi, our amazing guide from Deluxe Iceland. From the moment we landed until we departed, Ingi took such thoughtful care of every detail. We spent ten days, with adventures that included fly fishing (we caught Arctic Char), boating among ice bergs in a glacial lagoon, hiking volcano crater rims, exploring waterfalls, puffin cliffs on the Westman Islands and bathing in geothermal pools. And every day we enjoyed amazing food, and beautiful hotels. Deluxe Iceland arranged an excellent itinerary and Ingi made sure our every need was taken care of. His knowledge of all things Icelandic made the trip a very rich experience. He even did advance research into my family’s ancestral home in Isafjordur prior to our arrival and was able to take us directly to my great grandparents home, from which my family emigrated to Canada in 1898! Ingi’s enthusiasm for our itinerary made it so much fun. Deluxe Iceland created a once in a lifetime magical trip for our family–one that we will be talking about for years to come!
