On this day you will drive the Golden Circle, which is one of Iceland’s most popular routes. Start the day by visiting Þingvellir National Park, where you will have the chance to walk on a path in the rift valley between the North American and Eurasion tectonic plates. You will then drive to the geothermal area in Haukadalur and see the mighty Geysir and it’s active neighbour, Strokkur which spouts water every few minutes. Next, you will drive to see one of Iceland’s most beautiful waterfalls, Gullfoss( Golden Falls). On your way to Hotel Rangá for the night you can stop at Friðheimar Tomato farm, The theme of Friðheimar cuisine is tomatoes, in many different forms. And that’s not surprising, as four different varieties of tomato are cultivated in the greenhouses where lunch is served among the plants. Unwind and relax at Hotel Rangá for the night.
On this day you will start by driving to Seljalandsfoss waterfall before heading to Skógafoss Waterfall. There you can take time to catch the perfect photo with this amazing waterfall and take 527 steps up to the observation platform above Skógafoss. Next you will stop at Reynisfjara black sand beach where you can see the jagged basalt rock formations of Reynisdrangar and Dyrhólaey. A guide will take you on the ice for a hiking tour on Sólheimajökull glacier before heading to your hotel for the night.
