My wife and I are just back from 10 wonderful days in Iceland. Our trip was expertly choreographed from start to finish by Deluxe Iceland. Viktor patiently worked to construct an itinerary that suited us and continued to work with us during our private tour as the famously unpredictable Icelandic weather conditions dictated “on the fly” changes. Tryggvi (sic), our private tour guide and driver, was a supremely knowledgeable guide who entertained us every day with his knowledge of and enthusiasm for “everything” Iceland – history, culture, food, glaciers, volcanoes, waterfalls, geysers, hikes, horses and even trolls!
So many highlights! Hard to choose one – hiking up a volcano; caving underneath a glacier; glimpsing the Northern Lights at Hotel Ranga, the helicopter ride over an erupting volcano, the in-water couples massage at the Retreat at the Blue Lagoon, the best fish and chips ever, …We both felt so rejuvenated after our Icelandic adventure; Thank you Viktor, Trggvi, all at Deluxe Iceland and the Icelanders who made it all so enjoyable.

Eight of us spent nine wonderful days touring Iceland through Deluxe Iceland with our guide Unnar. We did all the major sights on the western and southern coasts. The natural beauty of the island was enhanced by the knowledge of our guide and his attention to every detail. Not sure how he did it but we had 8 days of sunny weather and mild temperatures and also got to see the Northern Lights. Unusual for that time of year.

Sig is an exceptional tour guide and provided us with a wonderful, memorable experience. We asked him to organize a very active trip in addition to showing us all of the beauty Iceland has to offer. He did an amazing job on providing us with a perfect blend. Sig is intelligent, an impeccable communicator, and has a great staff to assist him. We can’t thank him enough for an amazing trip.

What an amazing experience! Traveled with my mother (in her 70s). We selected the Winter Wonderland tour and customized it to our interests and skill level. We had the same tour guide the whole trip – Lulli who was wonderful. All the hotel selections were amazing (Hotel Borg, Fosshotel, Hotel Ranga, and Blue Lagoon Retreat Hotel). We spent the first couple of days exploring Reykjavik on our own and then toured Fagradalsfjall Volcano, Seljalandsfoss & Skogafoss waterfalls, Reynisfjara Beach, Vatnajökull National Park, Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, Diamond Beach, LAVA Center, Snowmobiling on Eyjafjallajokull Glacier, the Golden Circle, Reykjanes Peninsula, & Blue Lagoon. Everything about the experience was exceptional. The vehicle was very comfortable and had WiFi. All the lunch spot recommendations were delicious for local flavor. We felt very safe and taken care of the whole time. Highly recommend!

Deluxe Iceland did an incredible job planning our family trip. We worked with Viktor for a few months ahead of time. He was informative and very patient, helping us plan the perfect trip for our family. He organized and took care of all the details in advance so we could enjoy our trip without any hassles. When we arrived in Iceland we were greeted by our unbelievable guide Andri who showed us around Iceland, taking us to the blue lagoon, the golden circle, a local farm visit, the lava center, snowmobiling, and so much more. He was so knowledgable, extremely personable and just such a nice person. He added so much to our trip and we would highly recommend requesting him if possible. Everyone at Deluxe Iceland was very helpful and accessible while we were there. Viktor and Siggi were always quick to respond if we had any last minute questions.
